Academic Language Week 38 - Video Games in School Curriculum

Video games should not be used in scool curriculum. One reason is because there could be alot of bad CONSEQUNCES involving this video game system. Such as adapting to a bad habit of using these fun and non- educational FEATURES. There would be no point of having a video game system in classes because how would this educate us. Another reason it would not be a good idea to have in schools and to have in classes is because if a principal or a manager was to walk in the class rooms, it would not be a pretty site. Another reason is because the ASPECT of going to school and maintaing a good eduacation is to actually learn something. This has nothing to do with video game systems. Additionally, I really doubt any student will learn how to read, write, solve math problems, or even understsand history by playing with a game. Playing a Sims game or even Pac-man will not help with future problems. In conclusion, sticking to the regular academic system would best apply all of the students. There is no point what so ever having games in class besides educational games. We can still have fun and learn but just leave the gaming system at home.
